No Sabayon videos are on YouTube yet (oddly, since it's the official distro of Compiz Fusion), but this will give you the general idea. There's no difference in function. The only difference is that Sabayon installs it automatically, and with all other distros you have to install it yourself.
This Must Take One Powerful Machine! Can I Run Compiz Fusion on My OLD Computer??
The Compiz Fusion desktop takes surprisingly little resources.
Above, you can see a video of Compiz Fusion running on a Pentium 3 733mhz, 128MB RAM, GeForce 2 MX 400 32MB AGP 4X computer! Basically, running on a very old system with no real power at all. It shows the cube, zoom and a few other effects, taking almost no system resources, even at peak performance.
Sure It Looks Great, But How Hard Is It To Use?
Sabayon is incredibly simple for new users, but can be modified to be as complex as you like, thanks to the package managers and core engine it is built upon. Sabayon uses RedHat's Anaconda Package Manager alongside Gentoo's Portage core engine to produce a highly powerful, highly adaptable, and highly user-friendly version of Gentoo that has it's own distinct flavor.
The interface runs much like Windows XP, and all the Compiz Fusion effects and bonuses are layered on top with easily configurable keypress/mouse combinations. Heck, you can even run Compiz Fusion with a touchscreen, touchpad or Nintendo Wii interface! It's intuitive and simple, despite its incredible power!
Sabayon averts 64-bit pitfalls by running 32-bit apps where full 64-bit support is dodgy. Reviews indicate that Sabayon's 64-bit Linux OS is one of the most, if not the most, stable distros out there.
Sabayon comes highly reccomended from sources such as Techgage, Linux Fanatic, and Linux Tech Daily, where it received a five-star review from all of them.
What About Web Browsing and Multimedia?
According to Linux Tech Daily's reviewer: "I use the 64 bit version, Sabayon installs 32 bit versions of packages that have trouble running in 64 bits or are unavailable. That means you get Adobe’s Flashplayer for your browser. Mplayer uses 64 bit Realplayer for its codecs, so they are truly 64 bit. I have run into no problems or slowdowns. Everything runs seamlessly, whether it is using 64bit or 32bit libs. All of my multimedia needs are met with Sabayon."
That's a huge deal to most users, who's primary interests are (1) a stable, familiar desktop, (2) MS Office compatibility, and (3) gaming and multimedia.
What About My Word, Excel and Powerpoint Documents?
As with nearly all modern Linux distros, Sabayon includes the complete OpenOffice 2.2 Suite, which is 100% MS Office and WordPerfect compatible. You can import and export files in their native formats that your friends who still haven't switched away from Windows will have no problem receiving and reading!

So, What's The Down Side?
The down side could be system requirments. But it's not.
Any OS this advanced is going to require some horsepower on the motherboard to back it up, but considering what this OS can do, those requirements are very minimal. Check the system requriements below to be sure you've got the right computer for the job.
